With mostly period photographs you get a feel for what the CCC really did in the state of Arizona. It tells the story of a nation in dire straights and one of the programs that helped to bring us out of the depression. The CCC is still a story of America that needs more researc| |"These rare images, supplemented by detailed captions and succinct text, underscore the authors' conclusion that "[t]he CCC helped save the state's farming, ranching, and timber industries, with many roads, buildings, structures the men built still in use."|--
