Also, the author is greatly biased (the author works at the Prairie Homestead just to the North of the park); with that, the book is greatly slanted towards a rancher mentality, instead of a generalized mindset that is more prevalent in other sources of information abou|About the Author|Jan Cerney is a retired teacher and has self-published one book. She lives with her husband Bob on a ranch near Cactus Flat, three miles from the Badlands. They have three grown children.
